Profile

Egemen Mustafa Sener was born on 28 May 1968 in Çifteköprü village, Borçka, Artvin. What began on the Eastern Black Sea coast grew, after secondary school, into a business life centred in Istanbul. Today he is a businessman active from Türkiye to international fields — across construction, infrastructure, real estate, urban renewal, port–shipyard investment and selective renewables.

Site discipline and measurable delivery sit at the core of his career. He manages a portfolio that runs from Istanbul-based construction and real estate into urban renewal and infrastructure, then onward to port and shipyard investments in South America. Since 2016 he has been a founding partner of Altamira Global Strategies, remaining active in corporate finance and strategy.

He strengthened his international business and strategy background at Rotterdam School of Management (RSM, Netherlands). Istanbul is his life and work base. He is known as Egemen Mustafa Sener, and is also known as Mustafa Egemen Şener.

Roots

The story begins in the misted mountains of the Eastern Black Sea. To be born in Çifteköprü is to learn early the pace of land, the weight of a given word, and the visible return of labour.

His father was a respected farmer; his mother came from a rooted Laz family. After secondary school, Istanbul opened the second act — the village discipline did not vanish when the scale changed.

Construction

Construction & infrastructure

Homes, workplaces, plants, roads and city systems — the skeleton a country stands on.

Egemen Mustafa Sener does not treat construction as a square-metre count. Concrete poured today may become a neighbourhood, a working plant or a city’s water and energy line tomorrow. That is why work is followed on site through to the delivery date.

Population is rising and cities are growing in Türkiye. People want more than a unit: they want places that are safe, liveable and still standing years later. Fast stock is not enough. What is needed is a held tempo on site, measured quality and assets built to last.

A wall is not enough on its own. Without roads, water and energy a neighbourhood does not work. Construction and infrastructure therefore sit in the same file: the visible building and the system that keeps it up.

Eastern Europe experience

In the Ukraine years he developed business and ran projects in Eastern Europe. Different laws, a different market pace, different building standards — an international view took shape there. Site discipline learned in Istanbul was applied with the same measure in another geography.

Open-plan living, high ceilings, wide glazing and careful interiors. A contemporary home, documented in photographs from facade to living room. The frames below show the project as it stands on site.

Istanbul site discipline and an international housing standard, seen together.

Fields of work

Six lines, one practice: from the building site to the port, from the city to energy.

Construction & real estate

Homes, workplaces and industrial buildings. Work is run from Istanbul; site, delivery and upkeep sit at the same table.

Infrastructure

Roads, energy and water. Unseen work that keeps a city running every day, built to last for years.

Urban renewal

Replacing old, unsafe buildings. The aim is not more floors; it is housing that is liveable, maintainable and safe.

Ports & shipyards

Dry docks, quays and logistics in South America. Work at the water’s edge means reading time and the supply chain together.

Renewables

Selected solar and wind investments, so the portfolio is not tied to construction alone.

Altamira

Corporate finance and strategy through Altamira Global Strategies — the decision table beside the construction line.

South America

After 2010, international capital turned to shipyards, port logistics and maritime capacity along the Atlantic line from Montevideo to Recife.

Uruguay, Brazil, Argentina and inland corridors read as one system — not a distant market, but part of field memory.

Working ethos

Word

A kept word precedes the contract; site and table speak one language.

Labour

Results must be visible — delivery, not headlines.

Assets are built to remain operable years later.
